There seems to be so much anger these days. We hear people insult each other, disagree, and blame others for all the problems of the world. Times of change can be one reason there is so much anger. When humans are in periods of rapid change, we can be so afraid that we fear the change. While not all change is good, all change needs to be evaluated against the standard of the gospel. In today’s first reading, the anger of the people leads to murder. Can we allow God to insert his grace into our hearts so we can be persons of peace in the midst of change?
