Actions speak louder than words. We understand how easy it is to say something, but how much harder it is to do what we say. There are so many examples in life that remind us of this great truth. There are the promises made by politicians in the midst of a campaign. There is advertising and marketing which seeks to cause us to think in a certain way about a product or service.
Even in our own lives we can discover that it is much easier to say something, that it is to do it. Do as I say, not as I do. Talk is cheap. It really does not seem to matter how something is said, in the end it is what we do that gives authority to the words we speak.
